Do you ever wonder what happens to those cult kids you see on Netflix documentaries? (a little about me)
It’s me, I’m the cult kid.
I learned that it was sinful to think of myself as beautiful.
I learned that it wasn’t safe to value myself or feel proud.
I was not loved unconditionally.
I was not protected or valued.
And this is why I’m drawn to the work I do today.
It is my mission to show women their value. To hold up a mirror and reflect back your beauty, strength, and worth. To create a space where you can love yourself unconditionally and reflect that back to me. It’s a process of mutual healing. When you work with me, especially in a photo session, it’s not just about photos or content—it’s about transformation. You’ll leave feeling emboldened to ask for what you want and need. You’ll feel powerful enough to set boundaries and leave toxic people behind. You start to value yourself enough to demand the income you deserve.
That’s what drives me every day—because I’ve walked through the fire, and I want to help you do the same.
Read on to learn a little about me and the journey that got me here.
That’s me, on the left. I’m the eldest of four, and my story is long—so go grab yourself a snack and a beverage (and maybe your readers, if you’re over 40 like me).
My mom was a seeker. One of those people who bounces from one religion to another. Eventually, she settled on a type of Catholicism—but just being Catholic wasn’t enough. She became a “missionary” and had us all dress in robes and renounce the material world.
I was around seven when my parents divorced. My father had had enough of being dragged in multiple directions, and the religious life just didn’t resonate with him. It wasn’t long before my mom moved us into a bus that she painted with a Bible verse and a huge portrait of Jesus, and we hit the road to do “missionary work.” For years, we traveled through dozens of states, gathering people into our little community—people who had to renounce their former lives, take new names, and submit to my mother’s authority.
One day, I was sitting in the courtyard of a motel (the bus was being repaired), admiring the way my hair reflected the sunlight. My mother saw me, and in her eyes, I was vain. To save my soul, she said, my hair had to go. She braided it, cut it off, and left me with a haircut somewhere between a mullet and a bowl cut. I was 13. An awkward age for anyone—but add in a bad haircut, a weirdly developing body, and the religious robes I had to wear, and “awkward” doesn’t even begin to describe it.
Today, I’m a photographer, mentor, writer, studio owner, and content creator. I run Content Camp, a hands-on workshop where creative entrepreneurs plan, create, and implement content in a single day. I’ve spent years diving into woo and energy work, and I’ve come to the conclusion that the magic is within us. When we tune into our own intuition, we tap into the energy around us—and that’s when the real magic happens.
I help women-owned businesses step into the spotlight with bold, unapologetic visibility online. I don’t just teach—I help you implement, taking ideas from strategy to execution. Together, we’ll create scroll-stopping visuals, compelling content, and a plan to amplify your voice.
Because the world needs more empowered women who trust their own magic. And it starts with you.
